Hello!!! Just wanted to ask if Dorin's latest reply to their Eval day thread is meant to be a closer? I've been having lots of fun writing Jack with Dorin in that scene—happy to continue or end there depending on your preference!
Hey Sam! I'm digging their interactions too (two dumb boys doing their best out here!!) and I'm good either way. I thought it made sense to interrupt their conversation at Some Point given the circumstances and that seemed like the time to do it, but there's no reason we can't do a lil' timeskip or something if we want to keep playing after they're done being good medical professionals.
Hmmmmmmm, I think because Eval day is now four days in the past, we should end it there? Just to prevent a situation where we might be juggling present-day interactions with past interactions. It feels like a good natural point for their conversation to stop—Dorin helps Jack and then Jack resumes work. On Jack's part, it also provides him with things to think about/wonder about Dorin for future interactions!
Dorin is Sensitive. The discussion of permanently losing their powers just has him questioning how much progress he's actually made in coming to terms with himself. Because his immediate reaction is that too. Also some empathy for Whit and Jack because he just knows those feelings are a bad time. They're all doing great, really.
I think Whit is just feeling the best he's felt in 5 years since he hasn't gotten opossum features back yet, but it'll all come crashing down soon enough.
(Meanwhile he's like, "Wow! Dorin has such cool and useful powers!" and he admires that and is happy for him 🥹) ❤️❤️❤️
Hello! I'm good with either. Big lol for them trying to find each other in this without anything beyond 'let's meet at the bar'. They underestimated the Waldingers. Do you have any preferences?
I do think it'd be funny for them to wander around for at least a little while trying to figure things out. And maybe later they can challenge the maze together? Linus's anonymous prompt got a comment so I'm going to be ~revealing his look soon (unless I fall asleep mid-comment, which is honestly a possibility.)
I'm also happy to say that Linus lost and/or forgot his phone, so they can't even cheat and text each other.
It IS cheating! And honestly it might not even occur to Linus, poor dumb boy.
I'm excited for Dorin's too, whatever you end up deciding!! And besides, now you can be the responder who lets somebody else reveal their costume, and that's fun too.

Were you interested in them trying the maze, or someplace else? I'm just asking about the maze since it's closing soon but I'm not deeply attached to the idea. Just as long as they find each other sooner or later lol
I'm so sorry that I missed this! I was feeling under the weather all yesterday, so I ended up crashing in the early evening and just....sleeping forever. 😩
